Changes to our main site, re-open eBay Store

I have been busy this week with making a lot of changes to MnD Lures. I re-opened my eBay store MnD Lures.

I deleted the affiliate program, that was going nowhere. Instead of using the commerce site I had set up, I made it so that you are taken to eBay.
Right now until the end of March, all items in my store inventory are on sale.
I also deleted the classifieds, that was pretty much useless.
Walleye season is upon us so get to my store and get some of the best spinners out there. Don't forget, they are great for just about any fish !! I have caught bass, northern pike, pickerel, pearch, crappie, I want to say musky, but I have never really fished in any areas where there are any. Oh, and I have tried them in salt water too, and I did catch a few smaller I guess you could call them saltwater panfish?? I was with my brother in-law who lives in Cape Cod, Mashpee to be precise. He took us out on his 15' tri hull on a windy day, that was fun!!! I got totally soaked, but I was the only one to catch any fish.
Anyways enough of that. My point here is these lures are great and if you din't know how to fish with them just ask me. I will give you helpful tips and pointers so you can catch more fish too.

New Store

Well, I have closed the eBay store due to their outrageous fees. But I have been woking on building up my new store at ecrater. Changes to our site

I have made some changes to our webstore. I have reduced the item prices and changed it so that shipping is separate from the item price. I will also be adding the new lures "Fish Slayers" and the "Bucktail Inline Dakota Spinners" to the catalog. They have been selling on our eBay Store pretty good. Visit our eBay store.
Plus, we have also added more sizes,colors, and styles !! Tandem blade, quick change system, wire form inline spinners. We will even custom make your lures the way you want them.

We just added Black and Purple.
Now some colors will be discontinued, due to availability, but there will be even more colors added in the near future.

Lake Erie Walleye

Now I haven't been to Lake Erie myself, but Jim Dicken, the owner of the biggest fishing guide website on the net has. He went on a fishing trip to Lake Erie last week and he brought some of our lures with him. Fishing with an experienced guide at first using what the guide was using and not catching much they decided to try my lures. Well let's just say they dropped a couple of the painted chartreuse/orange spinners out and caught limit in no time.

Tough fishing in Oneida Lake

Well, I haven't posted in a while, but we went out to Oneida Lake on Sept 17th(my birthday) and didn't catch alot of fish worth keeping. I did however unfortunatley lose one that was a heart breaker. It was a big walleye again in North Bay in around 12 foot of water slow trolling a chartreuse/orange dakota spinner. I had it at the boat but the only problem was, my sons friend who is 7 years old grabbed the net to try and help land 'em, but he had trouble reaching the fish and anded actually hitting the fish and knocking him off the hook. Wow, what a bummer !! I can't really blame him though, he was just excited and trying to help. After that we trolled around for about another half hour or so then I was so bummed out I just packed up and went in. I was hoping to get out to Lake Ontario near Salmon River that day. I had heard from several sources that the salmon were just stacked up anywhere from 10 to 50 foot of water. But Deb wasn't feeling well and she just wanted to spend a couple hours fishing instead of all day. So, my b-day wasn't all that great of a day, other than the fact we were out fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Don't forget I have added 3 new colors to our collection. We now have the chartreuse/orange painted, white, and red blades. Plus, mor color combos for the float too. Check em out!

My report for Oneida Lake New York

This past sunday we headed out to Oneida Lake. We got out a little later than I wanted to, but when we got to our spot in the north bay, we hit 3 walleye within the first 20 minutes!! Then, we put another 4 walley and a smallmouth bass. Not to mention, Deb had one on that gave her one heck of a fight before breaking her line !!
Next week hopefully we will get out and do some largemouth fishing in Massachusetts.
I will be posting more pictures after that trip.
